Multiverse Expanded instigated by Ole Hagen for Akershus Kunstsenter (2011) is an ongoing exhibition project first launched as Multiverse at Danielle Arnaud, London (2009). Multiverse Expanded explores fiction as a tool for scanning the multidimensional surface of hyperspace. In the multiverse we are as unactualised to other possible beings as they are to us. If we’re all part of the same surface, only the faculty of imagination can map our co-extensive anatomies.
